Allander House Welcomes Network of Psychologists in Chronic Pain Management

Allander House and SNRPMP hosted the Network of Psychologists working in Chronic Pain Management in Scotland on Tuesday 3rd March 2019.  The event was attended by eleven psychologists working within chronic pain services across Scotland, including those from NHS Fife, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, NHS Lanarkshire and NHS Lothian.   The aim of the network is to share ideas and experiences across health boards and to discuss future research and audit opportunities.  As part of the session, we were lucky enough to get an introduction to a study showing the impressive cost-effectiveness of Clinical Health Psychology by one of the researchers, Dr Martin Dunbar.
