National groups are back up and running!

We are happy to announce the service is now up and running following a brief halt to activity due to Covid-19. Our groups are now running in ‘Virtual’ format using MICROSOFT TEAMS Platform. We are currently running our third virtual group. The virtual SNRPMP runs over 5 weeks with patients attending in the mornings 0930-1230.

Overall, the feedback from our patients who completed the virtual version of the programme has been exceptionally positive, and the group dynamic was not lost.

As with groups, all assessment appointments and follow-up appointments are being carried out remotely, using the NHS Scotland Attend Anywhere platform. Most people are finding this easy and straightforward to access, but don’t worry – we will contact you before any appointment with full details of how to use the platform to attend your appointment.

We are following Scottish Government guidelines around delivery of clinical services, and will restart face-to-face groups as soon as it is safe and practical to do so. We hope to continue providing remote access to our service in the future, to give more choices for people who might struggle to attend appointments and groups in person for any reason.
