Scottish Chronic Pain Management Clinical Psychology Special Interest Group Launched

The SNRPMP has begun the process of establishing a Scottish Chronic Pain Management Clinical Psychology Special Interest Group.  The first meeting of this SIG is planned for 18th January 2018, and it is hoped clinical psychologists from across the country will attend.  The plan for this first meeting is to generate discussion around the services provided across various health board areas in Scotland, and to set out the aims of the SIG.  We hope this forum will provide opportunities for CPD, research, and to share approaches to pain management, as well as valuable peer support for Clinical Psychologists working in this area.  It is hoped this will run twice a year.

Any questions relating to the SIG can be directed to Dr Lisa Reynolds, Clinical Psychologist at the SNRPMP.
